I Will Shine

Which of these times,
Am I going to unwind?
I guess I’ll just never know.
But sometimes I find,
There is peace of mind,
In knowing that there’s time to grow.
I hope you can forgive,
This way that I live,
For it’s the only way I know.
Each day I try,
To find a new way,
To live how I know is right.
But sometimes it’s tough,
Living just enough,
To get by from day to day.
So today I will try,
And recognize the lies;
I’ll start over fresh and anew.
And soon you will find,
That I will shine,
With a light as bright as a star.
