Housework
Pixies of dust have settled on the floor
 Growing in numbers,reproducing more
They fly and cast shadows in the light
 Causing cleanliness fright
My broom and cloth lay untouched
 Calling my name too much
I finally give in,I finally budge
Dirt begins again, with a fake nudge
The dust becomes more vigorous as it faces its fate
 With me,fighting is too late
They are pinned down with a rag
 With no escape
Though I may not always put it first
One day, hoping one of my top priorities will be housework
