Cut from the rock
Of human formality.
Can it be possible
That you were sent from angels
To bless this heart which beats
Too softly?
Just a gesture, simple and tired,
Rouses my body from
Its long slumber.
My skin runs cold,
My blood then warms,
And I find myself
Gazing at the stars.
