if you were sensible, when I told you that the stars flash signals, each one dreadful. you would not turn to me and say "the night is wonderful"

another day
another death
another friend
I'v lost

another week
another way
to feel the
pain it caused

another scream
another shout
will these things
ever change

another month
another year
these things are
still the same

I know how it feels to lose friends and family. My brother passed away when I was nine years old. I know how it feels to remember them and watch everyone else slowly forget. This world can be harsh and the pain from loss never lessens or decreases. I think that over time we just get strong enough to bear it. Keep writing, you are talented.

P.S. Thanks for your comment on my twilight argument. I agree with you that a book should not be argued over because it is written and won't change. I just don't believe the book is sexist.
