Sunflower
Buried in the ground
 Feeling the water touch me
 My roots are growing,
 I’m feeling the soil
 Pushing against gravity
Now feeling the sun upon me
 Growing taller every day
Can’t wait to see my petals
 I’m 10 feet tall
 And I’m blooming with petals
 that are orange and yellow.
 I see your smile
 proud of yourself,
 For how beautiful I’ve become.
 I’m a wonderful sunflower.
