Whispers
“Look at her!”
“What a freak!”
Arsenic remarks
Poison arrows
Piercing her armor
Blood dripping from invisible wounds
They can’t understand her…
Or perhaps they simply don’t want to
Understand
The delicate anomaly
They’re slowly slaying
She lets them have their fun
Taunt her for her antisocial disease
But someday
With her pen
She’ll stab them all
And live alone
Among the shells of her tormenters
Lying
Stone
Cold
Dead

Ending inspired by Rachel Kay King. This is a retaliation poem to being called a freak by a certain person who has been written about several times here. Enjoy the angst!
