April 16, 2009 (b)
The toll of bells
The rush of breath
The music playing
The scatter of petals
Affront of my rising bust
Nerves
Though long awaited
Have sunk in
Taken hold
Of my chest
As I step down the aisle
To where you await
Time passes slow
My white dress trailing
Shaping my body
Begging to be unzipped
Loving the focused attention
And hushed praise
The frosted lights
Glancing off the clear beads
Which shape my halter covered chest
My gorgeous love
Awaiting me at the alter
Formal clad
We clasp hands
Recite our vowels
Our eyes sparkle as they lock
We slip the rings onto the left finger
You draw me into our passionate kiss
Thankful for each other
That legally assigns us to a much
wanted and assured
Forever
