Praying at his alter
Watch him force himself
Between my clasped hands
Find my fist raised high
Fighting against him
Watch him seize my wrists
Slam me into wall

I love everything about this! The imagery and emotion you convey in just those short stanzas is just so wonderful. Take care <33
This piece is about the ability of men to justify their objectification and abuse of women no matter how they act, not that any type of person should ever have those things done to them. The poem talks about how men will hurt you when you submit to them and when you fight against them.
