Brilliance and Red MAG
Who are you, Baby Blue?
Do you have a wish in your soul?
Where are your tigers, your renegade fire
That sings with colors you stole?
Teal eyes ablaze on an overhead screen
Tapestries toppling your cranberry dreams
The world has been your popcorn machine
But now you sleep in coal.
Wake up, magenta -
Show me your sky!
Lift me up slowly so color may fly
Stripe me in ribbons and splash me in stars
Let me meander to avenues far
Carry me down to a creamy, lace sea
Sing me a story so I can feel free
Then wrap me up tightly and send me to bed
And then I’ll weave dreams in brilliance and red.
