Life & Death
Life & Death
I am a wraith
And I refuse to believe that
Some life should be spared
I realize this may be a shock, but
Life can be precious
Is a lie
There are no monsters
In 30 years, I will tell my children that
I have my priorities straight because
Death
Is more important than
Life
I tell you this
Once upon a time
The world was full of life
But this will not be true in my era
There will be chaos, insanity
Experts tell me
Your full of anger, losing sanity
I do not conclude that
All anger and hate can help
In the future,
The world will be gone
No longer can it be said that
The world will last forever
It will be evident that
Life will come to an end
It is foolish to presume that
Some things last forever after all
And all of this will come true unless we reverse it

This is a reversal poem. The two topics popped into my mind when I wrote it. I like the contrast of the topics.
