Mother Nature

I was walking home
from the bus one day,
and all of a sudden,
I felt something strange.
In my heart,
I felt peace.
In my heart,
I felt love.
Everything I saw
became fascinating to me:
the birds, the sky,
the trees and the leaves.
I then realized
just how beautiful she is.
For some odd reason,
on that day...
I stopped to think.
I stopped to take a second look.
Mother Nature...
she is beautiful.
