It’s always good to vent;
But, mother warned me of the draft.
Always looking forward,
You never have the chance to realize what’s beside you.
Nightly rain can, as it would a child,
Soothe a balding man to sleep.
As long as the windows aren’t all open and he’s aware of his surroundings.

Wisdom seeks good company.
But, some say theirs has good benefits.
Take the opportunity while you’re young.
A seed much simpler catches the wind,
Than the rooted sapling (in the grove with benefits.)
As long as a hammock is there for the balding man,
sleeping under the rain,
aware of his surroundings,
with just a window open.

Press on little one.
God is in the details.
Be not wary of the sleeping, balding man lying in your path.
Just know that you must close the superfluous windows to prevent the draft.

Wrote this in the car after a party at which, instead of sitting with the younger people, I sat in the company of older people (One of whom was a balding man).
