Sitting so pretty
Yet you don't have a clue
How i sit here
My eyes stuck
Stuck like glue
Why don't you look at me with pity
Or look at me at all
Im here don't you see me
I'm stuck on you
I can't peel away
your presence so captivating
I know i won't go astray
I can't peel away
I wish i could remove
Unstick this adhesive love
Gummed on to you
Captive in personality
Attentive in detail
This is tacky
I'm stuck on you
I want to love another way
Not gummed up and glued
Sticky and suffocating
Yet im stuck
Stuck like glue

This was well-written...I enjoyed reading it with the slant rhymes and all that...The feeling is so relatable and I feel related to it a lot, not romantically though, but it's like, you are drawn toward a family member who is not that close with you and want to have a better bond with them, but they don't recognise you and your need to be close with them and they do not realise that you do a lot of things successfully because of their presence...It's like you keep looking at them hoping that they would notice you, but they don't even know you're in the room...
Last year I was really hung up on this guy and it felt like my mind was adhered to his very presence.
