Riding the Moon

I’m riding the moon
To a better place
A place without hate or fear,
Without ruining secrets or cruel rumors
I’m riding that iridescent crescent
To a perfect world
Without death or disease
Only love and acceptance
I’m riding that lunar grin
To a place where only kindred spirits can go
Where I can rule
Where I have control
Unlike reality,
Where my life is a
Never-ending rollercoaster
That I wish would just slow down
So I could catch my breath
But it keeps going
And I’m headed to the point of no return
But I’m gonna ride that silver crescent smile
To the better place of my dreams
Where everything’s perfect
And I always have a say
And people accept me for me
And don’t leave
When things go downhill
My reality is a perpetual train wreck
And I can’t stop it
I’m not strong enough alone
Help me
Before I’m nothing but a memory
Just a memory. . .
Just a memory
And for just a few

I guess it's back to dark and gothic.
