Summer Day

Skin turns from tan to red.

Warm summer breezes, kiss my skin.

A bumble bee lands on my towel.

A popsicle drips, “drip, drip, drop”.

But when I look at the clock,

hours have passed. And now, I’m a tomato.

I love this poem!! I may be biased, but I absolutely love summer (and bumblebees), and your poem captured the feeling of summer perfectly! Awesome job! I also really like how you use a Korean poetic form. I don't think I've ever heard of a sijo until now, but I am totally going to look into it! Thank you!

Love,
Bumble Bee

P.S. Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see what you do next!!
