Untitled MAG
Underneath something uncovered
Hidden, like the dirt on a blustery
Mid-October day
Lies my hope, My hidden feelings
They rest eagerly under the blanket of security
Under all my outward sense of urgencies
Underneath my appearance
I know one day though, they might be exposed
to the brutal retaliations of truth
Something so bitter, yet so real
But you ...
How do I feel about you, my dear?
Maybe if you sit out here long enough the wind may start to blow
And if you look hard, you will see me and all my nurtured thoughts
But for now ... I’ll hold my feelings and my hope
Mid-October is yet to come
