My Four Walls
My four walls, white and pristine, watch as I live and laugh and become who I really am. They sit with me through my best moments, and wait for me when I’m away. I begin to notice that they are the only thing that I can truly rely on, they are the only thing that will stay no matter what, no matter how much I cry or talk or rant about nothingness. These walls have watched me write love letters and untype all the words I really wanted to say. They've watched me cry and scream and they’ve seen my whole world burn down right in front of my eyes. Throughout it all they’ve stayed, no matter how many emotions I throw at them and no matter how hard I hit them. They comfort me when no one else can, they’re the ones I hide behind when I feel most lost.

This was also a vignette I wrote for class, it was based on the song "Bedroom Ceiling" by Sody. I always felt like by room was a safe place for me, annd I wanted to portray that.
