Yesterday, today, and likely tomorrow,
school shootings, one after the other.
I don’t know how one can do this?
Do we need more laws?
Some say more background checks.
I say this needs to stop one way or another and
we need to keep students and staff safe in schools.
Should we increase security, like in Dearborn, MI?
Technology is a great thing,
and we need to get hold of it.
Schools need to do something about this.
Some schools are having more SROs,
which are police officers assigned to schools.
It is the job of the police to keep students safe.
However we do it, it needs to change.
Students are there to learn and make friends.
Students and parents should not be scared to go to school.
Not knowing something is frightening
Innocent lives have been taken far too many times.
This is not right.
Our society needs help.
