She pulls her hair back in a pony tail
Doesn’t bother to look in the mirror
Just another day in her normal life
Just another day to fail

Skies are blue but they seem grey
Gets pushed into the wall and it hurts
Brick gets engraved into her back
And she tried to dodge them on her way

English is first and she is alert
Until she is volunteered to read
She stumbles, stutters and the others they make fun
They do not know how much they hurt

The twisted words make her sick
And nobody knows what is wrong
Self-consciousness overcomes her body
Just another day for a dyslexic
