Decatur high
Nothing left, no happiness in sight,
As they lock us inside so they can teach us nothing of the future I still hold boundless questions of why,
I sigh as I learn how to bind my feelings inside watching as the system falls with no recondition,
we built a community with walls to learn how to be captive to society,
submissive to life.
The old the young they preach the future but teach the past,
there’s power in numbers,
but fear keeps us in a collapse, fear keeps us complacent,
fear keeps us here orbiting the real,
the road is life the destination is death,
destiny doesn’t exist so take as many pit stops as you wish.
Freedom of speech but you can’t pee in peace,
crowds and clouds.
