Grassland’s Daily Awakening
A perpetual smell of fresh greenery fills my nostrils
She sings to me, her voice carried by the soft breeze
Wildflowers and dandelions pepper her rolls
The hills wave to me, and I wave back to her
The golden sunrise peeks up its nosy head
And it’s as though the field glows a mystical amber
The steady fog which covers the ground begins to lift
Like a bride’s veil, as she is to be married to the morning sky
Droplets of morning dew tickle my toes
The gentle crunch of the grass beneath my feet
As they sink into the fresh, untouched earth
She is cold, and yet I can feel the warmth radiating beneath the surface
My energies dance with her own, intertwining infinitely
Inevitably drawing me ever so slowly back to her
With the crisp, clear air on my tongue
I sing her praise and give thanks for her beauty

Just a sweet little pastoral about appreciating nature and especially the sunrise since it is such a beautiful phenomenon to watch.
