Roller skates and roller blades
Chili dogs and cherry slushies becoming
Loud music and games so fun
Prizes and fun gadgets
Red tongues and tummy aches
Gliding across the white floor
To accomplish and win
Flowing with the music
With my beat down roller skates
Laughter and songs all around
And expressing myself on the slick floor
Singing and rolling
Memories and rewards
Living it up
Letting out all the jams
Screeching and slipping

Skate world was my favorite place to go as a kid. I felt free just to skate and listen to music. It getting shut down was heart breaking.
