The Cut That Always Bleeds

I always liked the color red but it was never my favorite color.
That is until i fell in love with the way silver drew red.
I cant remember when "why would anyone want to hurt themselves" turned into
"Just one last time."
But you know that "one" time wont ever be enough to satisfy you
So you keep drawing silver and it keeps coloring red
Until that pain distracts you from the mental pain.
You say you will stop
But you know that cut will always bleed.
