Isolation, seclusion, loneliness, chilled to the bone
Find my refuge in feelings not shown
Small shelter, when the winds of life moan
I crawl between the letters within this page
Tears and cries buried under the happy girl on stage
Things no longer under her control to assuage
Periods, commas, all meaning much more
Each word containing life to restore
Watching the tide go in and out off shore
Release the dam of my soul
Pulling myself out of this self-dug hole

It was a poem i wrote about my never ending relationship with words and poetry itself.

I am greatly appreciative of feedback from people. It means a lot to me to know that what I have to say is actually worth a damn; to someone other than myself. And that my voice, screaming like hell, actually was heard when I feel like it's not heard.
