so i thought

kiss the stars with me
and drift away in it
i was so affraid to tell you
but im not any more
im on my knees begging you
the years go by so fast
but i cant talk to you
close your eyes
and dream big with me
fight the waves
that come to carry you away
im praying that we can be
together at last
i thought for so long that
that was what we both wanted but
we couldnt have it
i guess it just wasnt meant to be
