I knew you once before
though you may not remember
Your sparkling brown eyes,
your hand gently caressing my cheek
You smile at me
just as you did when I knew you then
You were my prince charming
You held me every night
You watched me sleep
and whispered,"I love you"
softly into my ear
I knew you once before
though you may not remember

I like it! I agree with all of the other comments as well. I can really relate to your poem! I hate it when you KNOW you know someone and then don't remember you...but honestly...sometimes that is a good thing!
