Casket
I do not hear them speak
I do not feel the hand
The thing that they just told me
My heart cannot withstand
Why did he want to leave
Was my love just not enough
And then we found the letter
And all that it told us
You said it was not me
You said your heart was mine
But despite the heart I gave to you
You lost your grip through time
Your letter said so much more
But my eyes were filled with tears
I wish you would have talked me
Like you did for so many years
I will carry on your memory
And visit you everyday
I hope to meet you in heaven
Until then I live in dismay
