I murdered the “Old Me”
And now I can restart;
Can mend a broken heart

The second in the quatrain collection, depicting a past-used concept of “killing” one’s “old self.” My nickname since I was younger has been “King,” hence the title “Regicide.” After the sense of philophobia, I got rid of my fear, and past self so I could begin again. Following a six/six/six/six meter, five words per line, with an AABB rhyme-scheme.
