Equality MAG
Equality flows throughout the air,
But hatred and discrimination are everywhere
Different colors, and different cultures
Unique minds with dissimilar infrastructures
Different hair, with curls and waves
Hair that braids and misbehaves
Straightened hair that fights its natural being
Beautiful voices that protest and sing
Fighting to be noticed, and begging to be heard
Wanting justice for crimes that have occurred
Discriminatory words, often overlooked
Reading about history through old-timey books
As history repeats, again and again
We say a prayer, that ends with Amen
