Something about it makes me not want to go.
The reason why? I really dont know!
Its not that learning isn't my thing,
when im in school, i just wanna hang.
I like to sit back, relax and make the class laugh.
It helps ease the tension and helps time pass.

But learnin' I do.
Not because im yearnin' to,
But because I can be both, sucessful and comical too.
See, I get in trouble just like all my friends do,
But the difference between us is I know when not to!

Knowledge is power!
Thats why im IN class hour after hour!
















I wont lie, sometimes learning is pleasing,
But many of my friends just dont see the reason!
So they sit around,laugh,joke,and fight,
Then be mad later cuz they grades aint right!

Dont get me wrong, I get failing grades often!
My dad sees them,then starts yelling,screaming,and coughin'!
Then he always say,"WHAT!", and i say "I'll get it straight".
Then he says, "you better hurry up before its too late"!

See, I give my friends good time and laughter,
But then I get my grades straight soon after.
Because knowledge is vital to life!
I plan to have a nice car,house,child,and wife!
I plan to get in that car,recline the seat and cruise.
But to get all that, I gotta got to school.
