Sadness and rain

There is sadness in every tear
When each one falls through the atmosphere
It is as if the sky might fall
Throughout the day and through it all
Rain is like tears falling from the sky
As if the clouds are saying goodbye
If only the world could greet us “Hello”
But instead, it’s full of sadness and snow
The world is sad and full of tears
But sometimes we can lend our ears
To those who need a tale to tell
And when it’s done I’ll
say farewell
