Eyes
An eye is an eye
Hiding and showing.
Hiding your past
Showing your soul.
They say
The eyes are the window to the soul.
You try to hide your past
But show him your soul.
Show him that happy, smiley outer mask
While the inside of you is dark and sad.
You’re surrounded by people
But still so alone.
They all look into
Your ever changing eyes,
Giving them a glimpse
Into your ever changing mind.
Bright clothes and colorful smiles
Cover up a dark past,
Hiding the eyes that watched you.
Hoping you would fall.
