Sometimes I wish I was a star
Tiny and insignificant, seen from afar
By those who don't have a care
For those bright things that hang in the air
But those who knew me
Would really know what they see
Unique in every way
Not just another actor in a play
Sometimes I do feel like a star in the night
Trying with all my might
To be what I want to be
Not what everybody else wants to see.
