Favorite Quote:
-The brightest future will always be based on the forgotten past
- It takes who you are and where you've been to make the person you are today
-As one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person
-To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail

You've got to believe in yourself
Don't let anyone
Tell you anything else
We didn't win the lottery
But that doesn't mean
We should give up our dreams

'Cause our dreams will come true
Eventually
Our prayers will be answered eventually
The light will find us all

Fame and fortune isn't everything
'Cause our dreams that come true
Are what make us happy
So don't grieve if you don't have money
Just believe in our dreams
And that will be plenty

'Cause our dreams will come true eventually
Our prayers will be answered eventually
The light will shine on us all

So wait till kingdom come
All the waiting will be done
All our hopes and dreams are soon to be over
'Cause I know I'm not getting
Any younger
Maybe it will come when I'm
A little older
But I know it has to come sooner or later

'Cause our dreams will come true eventually
Our prayers will be answered eventually
The light will be shining on us
Like new diamonds eventually
Eventually like rubies
Eventually
Eventually
Eventually

This song is about waiting for your life long dream. And in the long run it finally pays off. Waiting was worth it.

Eventually I know you will reach your destination as your writing is out standing!

I love it!! You communicate widom of waiting on the Lord. Eventually - who knows when - dreams and prayers are answered. I love the message

This poem puts me in mind of Langston Huges- it has the same modern, non traditional rhythm which just makes it that much more compelling to read.
