Misguided

You told me to go right, and I did. You told me to go left and I did. When you thought it was a mistake, it was I who had to correct it. You said "jump", I asked "how high?" You were down I helped you up. You fell, and I caught you. When you were shining, I made sure that I stayed in your shadows. I covered up what you didn't want to be revealed. You were my mentor, I trusted you to take me to a place I could not get on my own. I though you were my map, but turns out that you are just like me. Misguided.
