Invisible

Sometimes I wonder if he really sees,
really notices me
When I'm there, not there.
They push and shove
tease and "torture"
but still I wonder
am I invisible to him?
Does he really see,
really notice me?
Or am I just some girl who
laughs too loud, too hard
smiles too big
talks too loud
yells apologies for something not my fault
turns red at the thought of him
chokes out greetings in the hall?
A girl who isn't bold enough to tell,
to tell him how I feel,
so finally he knows.
But do I really want to know?
The invisible girl?
