&quot;..Paper people in their paper towns burning paper just to try and stay warm for the future..&quot;<br /> Paper towns by John Green

How could you do this to me?
You left me cold and scared
How could you do this to me?
You left me alone and in despair.

You shed me like a snake sheds its skin
You ripped me open like a prize you could win.

You told me I was beautiful,
You told me I was pretty.
You told me you were faithful,
You told me You were witty.

You flirted with me constantly,
You touched me when you were near.
You tickled me and rubbed me,
You left me completely in tears.

I was scared for my life,
that my mom would find out.
I was scared for my life,
for I was sneaking about.

It was a stupid decision,
a priceless mistake.
There was no precision,
it flowed like a lake.

The pain you caused,
the hurt you did..
You left me open,
like a jar with no lid.

You sang to me
you told me everything was fine.
You listen to me,
and told me everything was alright.

At first what we did was innocent,
Now what is left is adolescent.
For what happened in that room was immature,
And what happened in that room, there is no cure.

No cure for the images trapped in my head.
No cure for the feelings that are left on my bed.

It is you that I thank for this terrible thing,
It is you that I thank for this meaningless fling.
