learning to swim.
i dont know what has started,
or why or when or how,
but if i was to guess,
and let my heart tell this tale,
this fairy tale would be like this...
that day,
two years ago,
when you chose me from the rest,
and captured all my love.
you were older by years,
with a smile that still breaks my heart,
those warm eyes that melt mine,
and that laugh,
that beautiful laugh that is the song my heart sings.
we saw the world together,
you and i,
and i fell in love.
but it ended,
as all great things do,
and we parted ways for these two years...
but now:
we see each other,
from across the world,
and that day two years ago starts anew.
you are even more dashing than before,
more perfect,
more consuming of my love.
bu now we do not talk, those years an ocean between us.
and neither of us can swim.
but i love you,
so much,
that you are all i think about, all i need,
so now,
i will to learn to swim.
