why did you leave me, bloody on the floor?
you sacrificed my life for your own good
why did you hide me and walk out the door?
locked in a closet of festering wood
get back here you a****** and say goodbye
you waited until now to stop speaking?
couldn't anyone hear, other than me?
those sly footsteps of a first-time killer
he drove away, couldn't anyone see?
just walking out of an epic thriller
well, here I am dead, still holding this thought
why did you kill me, and never get caught?

This poem is actually a sonnet that I just did for an English assignment.

sorry, I'm the author and I left 2 lines out when I was coppying it, and it's really bugging me because now it's not a sonnet. Lines 7 and 8 are:

you shot me three times and left me to die

those steps gave you away, justice creaking

sorry about that for whoever's reading this. :)
