MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT

When the moon rises and the sun falls.
That is when the magic comes out.
The fairies flutter and the gnomes play tricks.
The trolls make bonfires and the unicorns dance.
The werewolves play tag with the mice.
The dragons fly overhead and protect the land.
And the mer-people protect the seas.
They all sit down to eat now.
All grateful for the time they have.
Don’t be sad…
Cause tomorrow brings a new light.

Poetry is interpretation by the reader (I am a certified ELA teacher who loves literature). Work on punctuation and continuity (you went thru a lot to get to the idea that things will get better, everyday is a new beginning, never give up etc). That is my interpretation.
