Autism, a growing problem.
A type of disease.
Those that possess it
can’t play, laugh, or tease.
You have one hobby,
that’s all you know.
You can’ change how you live.
You’re not go with the flow.
People perceive you as mentally retarded.
But if only they knew.
Your genius,
you just can’t have anything knew.
You’re a loner,
hardly any friends.
You’re not that fast,
but you’re not a dead end.
This disease has quadrupled.
Growing, growing, growing.
You’re one in five hundred,
And we’re still discovering…
