The "PSSSSSST" of a coke bottle,
opening in the back,
the ramblings of a teacher,
The crinkling of a lunch sack.

computers humming everywhere,
typing clicking. groan.
Lecture ends, Homework assigned,
everybody moans.

Everyone is busy,
Just a Shufflin' through the halls,
No time for smiles and laughter
Calling back, when someone calls,

Arguements, and querrels,
Ringing in my ears,
hatred and the loathing,
reoccuring tears.

What is this life,
We are forced to go through?
four years of this,
Its what we have to do.

stressing over nothing
Worrying about our hair,
What other people think of you,
And what kind of clothes you wear.

the rumors and the lies,
its all a big disguise,
I cant avert my eyes,
from the crimes they try to hide,

The needless torment every day
a cry a laugh a meaningless insult,
the stress of surviving just one class
A detention a report card makes life so difficult

Finding people who you can trust,
Avoiding what others think is "cool"
hardening your heart from all the betrayal,
And on goes the problems with High School.
