Jaded Stone
I walked the halls of faded change
Straight and narrow it had led
Till thoughts in mind did re-arrange
My memories in time had bled

A stone before me stood as still
 As the stars above
 No action past-lived could fulfil
 All its guiding love

As I felt its rough surface
A flush of life enveloped my flesh
 Logic flew through false disgrace
 Breaking my own mind-filters' mesh

The energy had halted stiff as ice
It even shocked my body's soul
 Forget-it-happened cannot not suffice
For the fabric still runs my body whole

Whatever it was, I need some more
For even with others I feel alone
I`d search the soil and all the shores
Just to find that Jaded Stone
