Making lights fade into black
Temptation rules most

Light of Holy words

Light of righteousness
Light of servanthood
Light of the dove

Light that comes
From the life of
His Word
His breath

Darkness may tempt me
Darkness may sins arise
But my light stands
Upon the rock of His cornerstone

May your lights arise
From the darkness of this world
May His light shine
Through the darkness

Through the darkness
Of sin, regret, and guilt
Through the darkness
Of selfishness and hate

May your light shine
May your righteousness flow
May you be separate
Instead of the world

May His light consume you
With grace, love, and salvation

He is the light through darkness
Through this darkness of this world
May His light shine!
Pray His light shine!

And may you spread light
To others of darkness
Who search for light
And the ones that you love

Spread His light
To all the nations!
Bring a light
