my image of you is a broken heart
I’m falling through the cracks
where it’s cold
where it’s dark
where the blood doesn't flow
and the light doesn’t reach
what's running through my veins is
my twisted shame
I'm the one to blame for following
your games
like a little lost lamb that wanted
to believe
you could ever be more than
everyone deceived
but you weren't
and I know you won't change
so this shame, it will stay
for I was blind
now I’m poisoned with your betrayal
I should've seen the signs
but still imprinted with your love
I can't get you off my mind
my image of you is a broken heart
forever will it bind

I love poetry, and had been trying to write another poem for some time. Then, while trying to fall asleep, it came to me. 'my image of you is a broken heart.' so I wrote it on my hand. In the morning I sat down and wrote and it came very easily to me.

wow,that was amazing, and you wrote this just on the top of your head? thats a true writer :) It takes me weeks to write something even remotely close to that. Keep up the good work.
