Emotional Mind MAG
Here I stand alone and scared
Fear plays from a three-piece band
I stand and listen to the weary sound
Coming from the curve around
I seem to move with all my ease
Afraid of what my ease will bring
It calls my name with such extortion
Followed by a swarm of emotion
Moving on with a steady pace
Wond'ring if there will be a face
I turn the corner and to my surprise
The three-piece band has moved from sight
The music still played
As I walked on only to find another song
I waited and watched for awhile
Nothing happened till I grew mindful
Then things turned clear
And the three piece band reappeared
The music still played but I knew why
Only to tell me that I won't die
I looked around and to my surprise
I was back at home wanting to cry
I wiped my tears and sat straight up
And prayed for my angel
Who decided to look up.
