My hair whips in front of my eyes
Mousy, dirty hair
My white t-shirt blows around my hips
Billowing out around me
My arms are crossed against my thin body
Covered in goose bumps
My toes dig into the grainy sand
Sharp against my feet
I look into the dark, wavy sea
Salt in my mouth
The dangerous clouds rolling in
Lightning in the sky
The lost ship, floating aimlessly
Or sunken to the floor
I will wait through the storm
I will wait an eternity.
