I am a long forgotten present,
Three Christmases ago,
Replaced one time over,
And many more to go.
Sometimes I think and wonder,
What might I be
If Christmas hadn’t come this year,
And you’d open your eyes to see.
So sitting in this corner,
I wait for you to come,
Hoping just this time
That I would be the one.
