Death's Postponement MAG
Is not life
Just a death postponed?
Is not death's dry breath
Always in the wind?
Forever watching
Forever waiting
Is not life
Just a death postponed?
Like an apple,
Destined
To fall from fingered branches
Of an apple tree,
Which too will die
As we someday.
Is not death's dry breath
Always in the wind?
Like a honey bee,
Destined
To use its only defense
Resulting in a death,
In which the bee
Employs its stinging irony.
You and I
Like the bee, the apple,
And the apple tree,
Will come and go
With nothing in-between
But to live a life to die
