Untitled MAG
Sitting at the kitchen table,
in the middle of the night,
she quietly sips the tea.
Her body absorbs the warmth,
and it spreads throughout her,
like electricity.
The night is so silent, so quiet.
She should be at peace but,
she is not.
Her mind is thinking of him.
She couldn't remember when it had happened,
her reticent love for him,
or even how it happened.
Either way, she feels satisfaction.
The tea is almost gone and
she feels relief.
